Coatings and linings leaders offer one-source protection
With the recent acquisition of Ceilcote USA Inc., International Paint LLC, part of Akzo Nobel, can now provide the chemical and industrial marketplace with a superior line of corrosion-control, fire-protection and high-performance protective coatings in one single source.

Now, International Paint can deliver high-performance coatings systems in tandem with lining systems from the Ceilcote line. The first joint project installation was to help the Indiana-based Alcoa-Warrick Station Power Plant comply with new safety regulations. Simms Painting Co. Inc. of Evansville, Ind., helped select the exterior and interior coating and lining systems that will protect the five new 50-foot-by-60-foot diameter tanks that support the power plant’s scrubber system.
